Welcome to Blissful Fitness

Blissful Fitness offers fitness sessions for Mums to be and recently new Mums to help you relax, continue to exercise and strengthen core areas, both at post and antenatal stages.


Sessions are lead by Sara in friendly, welcoming small groups. Sara has been a midwife working in the Solihull area since 2006 both on the wards and in the community. Sessions accommodate all levels of fitness and are suitable from 12 weeks into pregnancy or 6 weeks post birth.


A range of sessions including Aqua Fitness, Pilates, Baby Yoga and Baby Massage are available throughout the week at a variety of times, so we hope you can find something that your looking for. However, if you can't, drop us a line and we'll see what we can do.

Sara also offers '1 to 1' Pilates and Baby Yoga, so contact us to find out more if you prefer to exercise in your own home.

A little bit about Sara

Midwife & Blissful Fitness Owner

Hi, firstly thank you for visiting my website, I hope you have found all the information you needed, but if not, please get in touch via email or Facebook.

My new Aquanatal and Pilates sessions are really exciting for me and I'm looking forwards to building a social community for Mums and Mums to be to make new friends and share their tips, tricks and experiences.

I qualified as a Midwife in 2006 after studying at UCE in Birmingham and trained within the Heart of England NHS Trust. Once qualified, I worked on the Solihull Labour Ward  and Birthing Unit before moving to my current role as a Community Midwife in the Solihull area. 

In 2017, following the birth of  our 2nd son, I trained in the Aquanatal and Pilates instruction specifically for pregnancy which is underpinned by my Midwifery experience and qualifications. Since that time, I also qualified to teach Baby Yoga and Baby Massage courses which i absolutely adore doing ans especially as some of the mums exercised with me during their pregnancy. It's been amazing to see the little ones join in the classes. 

I'm 34, have two beautiful boys, a great supportive husband and our amazing family dog, Bonnie (you may see her with me on my park workouts). In the years between our boys, I got in to keeping fit. I joined a number of fitness classes and did a few events like the Major Series and Race for Life. But when I was pregnant for the 2nd time, I had to reduce the level of activity and search for some low impact exercise. It was difficult to find sessions which were suitable or local.


So my hope is that I can offer something to you ladies that can still allow you to exercise, keep fit, build core strength, relax and mainly have some fun. I really hope to see you soon.
